Phrase Studios is an independent streetwear studio in Gent, founded in 2023. The studio makes heavyweight cotton pieces in generous cuts, releases them in chapters, and closes the run when the chapter is done.

Each chapter is a closed shape, not a season in the fashion-calendar sense. A chapter has a name, a small set of pieces built around one idea, and a run sized to the people who actually wear it. Sold-out chapters move to The Vault as an archive, not a restock queue.

WHY

From friends, to friends.

Phrase Studios was started in Gent in 2023 around a simple idea: clothes that don't lie. Not the loudest, not the cheapest, not the most photographed. Just made well, for people who actually wear them.

It runs from friends to friends. The people who design the pieces are the people who wear them, and nothing leaves the studio until it passes that test.

HOW

Chapters, not seasons.

Chapters are released in numbers sized for the community that wears them. Fabrics are chosen for how they age: heavyweight cotton on the staples, embroidered or garment-dyed in low counts per chapter. Sizes are told honestly. The size guide is the single source of truth across the catalog.

We would rather close a chapter than restock it just to keep it selling. NOTES FROM THE STUDIO

Sizing is XS to XL. Fits skew oversized in heavyweight cottons and true-to-size in woven pieces. Product pages name the model height alongside the size worn in the shoot.

How do Phrase Studios pieces fit?

Our pieces have a relaxed, boxy unisex fit with a slight drop shoulder, true to size to slightly oversized. If you want a closer fit, size down one. Everything runs XS to XL, and the size guide on each product gives garment measurements in centimetres.

How long does shipping take?

We ship worldwide from Belgium. In Belgium and the Netherlands delivery is typically around 2 days, and shipping is free over €100 / $100. Order before 14:00 and your piece is dispatched the same day.

What is your return policy?

You have 14 days to return an unworn piece. Our pieces are made in small numbers and are not restocked once a chapter closes, so use the size guide before you order.

What is The Circle and Pocket Change?

The Circle is our membership. You earn Pocket Change on every order, 1,000 to start and 10 for every €1 you spend, and you redeem it like store credit (100 Pocket Change is €1). Members also get early access to chapter drops. More about The Circle.

Which payment methods can I use?

Bancontact, iDEAL, card, and Klarna. Klarna lets you spread payment at checkout.

Do you restock sold-out pieces?

Rarely. Phrase is built in chapters with a finite end. Once a chapter closes its pieces move to The Vault and are usually not reprinted, so if your size is in stock, that is the moment.
