Horizon is Phrase Studios' fifth chapter, and the current one. It is the studio's knitwear chapter: a cotton-wool ribbed piece built for the months between seasons, in a palette pulled back to the colour of a line where land meets sky. The chapter is about looking forward without rushing toward it.
From the studio. “After Floral Bloom, which was the heaviest thing we had made, Horizon needed to breathe. Knitwear, a quieter palette, a piece you reach for without thinking. The horizon is the thing you walk toward that never arrives. That felt right for a fifth chapter.”
Cotton-wool ribbed knit
The fabric is a cotton-wool blend, ribbed. Wool brings warmth and recovery; cotton brings breathability and softness against the skin and keeps the piece wearable indoors. The rib is what gives the knit its structure and its stretch, so the piece holds a clean line on the body without a tight fit. It is built for the in-between months, not the depth of winter.
“We blended cotton into the wool so it would not be a one-season piece. A pure wool knit lives in January. A cotton-wool rib lives from September to May. We make chapters to be worn, not stored.”
The Horizon knit
The Horizon knit is the active piece from Chapter 05. A ribbed cotton-wool top on a relaxed unisex cut, XS to XL, in the chapter's pulled-back palette. As the current chapter it is in full stock; chapters before it have begun moving pieces into the archive.

The chapter that is open now
