Sizes XS to XL across the line, relaxed unisex fit, built on 100% heavyweight cotton with custom embroidery, screen print, and rhinestone work depending on the chapter.
Phrase works in numbered chapters rather than seasonal collections. Each chapter is a short run of pieces written around a single idea (a phrase, a place, a feeling) and produced in small batches. When a chapter closes, the pieces move into The Vault as a readable archive and are not reprinted. Active chapters live here.
From the studio. “Two friends started Phrase to make clothing that reads like a sentence. Heavyweight cotton, short colour palette, one idea per chapter. The rule we keep coming back to is that a piece has to be honest at 240 grams per square metre before it earns anything on top of it.”
